....This book contains reproductions of many advertising paper dolls, most of which were published at the turn
of the century. Printed on cheap paper & intended as throw-aways, few copies of uncut advertisign paper dolls
survive today. The paper dolls reporduced in the collection are all in their original uncut condition. They
are printed with their original advertising material - much of it appearing on the reverse of the doll, as it
did in the original form.
These authentic reproductions, pure Americana, cannot be obtained elsewhere without substantial investment and
luck; they are preserved here for all paper doll-lovers.

from October 1908 to June 1909...as well as the series 'Presenting Lettie's Sister's Wedding', which
appeared from November 1909 to May 1910.

The series of Boston Herald Ladies is one of the best-known and most popular of all newspaper doll sets.
This book features 2 dolls & 38 fashionable costumes of the day appeared in the Herald's Sunday supplements
during 1895 & 1896.
Lovingly kept & is in Very good to Excellent condition.
