Classic Jointed Teddy Bear by Schuco of Germany Schuco is a German toy maker founded in 1912 by Heinrich Müller and the businessman Heinrich Schreyer. Originally this company was named as Spielzeugfirma Schreyer & Co, but in 1921 the company changed the name to Schuco. Classic five jointed Teddy Bear made from the finest Mohair with shaved mohair pads and muzzle; Black, vertically stitched nose and Brown/Black glass eyes. Standing 25" (63.5 cms) tall. Donated by a collector who states "This is a 1950's Bear by Schuco of Germany". We do not have the specialist knowledge to confirm or dispute this assertion. Offered in excellent, clean condition.
