This is the first time I knew a "kit" existed for clothing for the Original Doll Baby (make your own Cabbage Patch doll). It will fit regular CPK's also.
Package states: Ready-to-Sew Designer Clothing Kit by Martha Nelson Thomas. Original price sticker has a price of $7.98. Warm wash. Tumble Dry. 1985. The plastic package is open, but the items inside are fine and ready to sew.
Includes all the pattern pieces to make a hooded jogging outfit/sweatsuit in blue with a draw string hood. It has rib cuffing for the arms and leg openings. The kit also includes the white stripe fabric to place on the outer side seams of the pants. The elastic is shot, but I'll include fresh elastic for you. I don't know anything about this line of "make your own Cabbage Patch clothes" but this should be an easy and fun project for someone. The pieces are a little wrinkled but the wrinkles will come out in the wash or with an iron.
Over the years I have purchased a lot of Cabbage Patch items; sometimes I purchased "lots" and received several items. This is one of those items that came in a lot.

SHIPPING: We always ship on Saturdays by USPS, and we make additional shipments as needed. For example, pay by 6:00 p.m. Friday to ship on Saturday. During peak times or to honor special requests, we will make additional shipments. We ship auctions internationally usually by First Class International or Priority International mail. Winning bidder pays shipping (includes USA delivery confirmation) and handling/packaging costs. The cost of shipping and handling is in the shipping total estimate if you use the calculator button below on this auction page. We will combine shipping for items won within 7 days of each other when possible if you let us know in advance. (We charge a small handling fee as stated in each item’s auction, but shipping costs for multiple wins can generally be combined for reduced shipping costs). We do not make a profit on shipping. Handling helps cover some of our costs associated with auction postings, supplies, and time. (Yes, eBay charges us to post auctions, AND Paypal does charge a fee for each transaction--minimal estimate they charge us for most auctions totals over $2.00). First class shipping & handling costs usually run just under $4.00 (depending on the weight and zip code), and additional wins add $1.00 to the total when a single payment is made for all purchases. We are not responsible for damaged or lost items once shipped. We pride ourselves with our packing as we want your win to reach you safely. We generally use the most economical shipping method. (Usually Parcel Post or First Class saves you money. If you want Priority Mail, please let us know, and we will adjust the shipping accordingly.) HOWEVER, please note, if item is FRAGILE or a discontinued collectible, or if time is critical, OR in the case of some doll outfits with structured HATS, we will ship by PRIORITY MAIL. Doll clothes with lots or ruffles or with lining often will weigh a little more than the "average" dress, and if items are shipped in boxes, it too will add a few ounces to the total weight. We try to identify in the auction if an item will be shipped in a box.
INSURANCE: We are careful packers but that doesn’t prevent losses; therefore, we always recommend insurance, ($1.70 up to $50.00 value). Insurance is NOT available for international shipment by first class mail; insurance IS available for Priority Mail international only - as per USPS regulations.
PAYMENT: Winning bidder is expected to contact us within 3 days of auction close regarding choice of payment method. Payment is expected within 7 days of the end of auction. U.S. Money Order is preferred but PayPal is acceptable also (eCheck, PayPal existing funds or bank transfer, etc). We accept credit card payments through Paypal. We will also accept U.S. personal checks but item is held 10 business days until check clears. Please be aware that this will cause a shipping delay as a result. and might create a problem for you if you need an item quickly. Buyers are responsible for any charges.
International payment must by by Paypal only.
WINNER will be notified of total including shipping costs after the auction. If you do not hear, that means there is a problem with the mailer so we ask you to contact us.
PLEASE, if you bid and win, intend on paying or we will have little choice but to report any non-payment to EBay. Ebay will issue a strike against the non-paying bidder. We love to successfully complete transactions so as to give and receive positive feedback. We think most people are sincere but occasionally things happen which may create a problem -- communication is the key to a successful experience. All sales are final.
