1948 JACK & JILL, Uncut Paper Dolls Doll, THE HOWELLS

These paper dolls are  "The Howells" and their dog (who can hold the newspaper shown in his mouth), by Peggie Geiszel.   Is the center fold from the February 1948 issue of the  Jack and Jill magazine.  The magazine was in too sad of a condition to salvage.  The Howells are people from "Robin Hall" an imaginary boarding school attended by boys and girls from the ninth grade through high school. Several paper dolls from the Robin Hall series have been found in the Jack and Jill magazines, I will also be listing Mademoiselle Piquet the French teacher, if intereted.  These paper dolls are in nice condition.  Someone drew around Mrs. Howells hat in pencil and there are some rubbings around the outer edges, minor, (see picture).   I have several other old center fold paper dolls that I will be putting up for auction in the near future, you might like to take at look to see what I have to offer...  If you have any questions please e-mail me before bidding.
